Eligibility: The following Maryland entities are eligible to submit applications under LETS: • Local Law Enforcement • State Law Enforcement • Local State’s Attorney’s Offices • Maryland Attorney’s General Office Scholarships may range up to $5,000 per individual, per course. Note: An agency's total fiscal year LETS request cannot exceed $5,000.

Eligibility: The following entities in Maryland are eligible to submit no more than one (1) application for the SFY 2027 Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (BSCI) - Building Engagement Around Crisis, Outreach, and Navigation (BEACON): • Local government agencies • State government agencies • Nonprofit organizations

Deadline: All applications must be submitted electronically via the Grant Management System (GMS) on Friday, July 24, 2026, by 11:59 PM. Please note all the required items listed on the NOFA checklist must be uploaded by the noted deadline.

SFY27 Sexual Assault Kit Testing06/12/202606/12/2026
 

Eligibility: Funding through this application is available to 1) Maryland’s six CODIS labs for capacity expansion and the testing of sexual assault evidence collection kits (SAKs) by forensic laboratories; and 2) the Federally Recognized State Sexual Assault Coalition, Office of the Attorney General, and peer-to-peer telehealth providers that meet the statutory requirements for forensic evidence collection.
